After uploading an image from the photo gallery a "no media preview" image appears

Instead of the actual picture, a "no media preview" image is shown when uploading a picture from the phone gallery. The photo seems to be uploaded just fine - when I go to the web-interface (pixelfed.social), I can see the picture just fine. Refresh of the photo-stream does not help.
