Moving Pixelfed from domain to subdomain

Hi All, how should I go about moving my pixelfed instance from foo.bar to sub.foo.bar?

I tried by setting up NGINX & the pixelfed .env file. sub.foo.bar would actually redirect to sub.foo.bar/i/web then return a 404.
