Deploying from Eclipse

I'm looking for a solution to compile SASS 3 *.scss files and this POC is very interesting. Indeed, I can compile with Maven without any issue, but if I deploy the WAR from Eclipse the *.scss files are not compiled and deployed as-is. Did you ever managed to have this deployed from Eclipse?
