Hi

Can you please consider enabling github flavoured markdown? So that we could have nicities like tick marks? Reference

Hi 👋

The extension's markdown rendered already makes use of GitHub's markdown flavour (https://github.com/plibither8/markdown-new-tab/blob/master/src/js/index.js#L530). So something like

I just saw your profile, what you are doing at this stage is really great achievement.

Btw, I just tested. It is not rendering as check box for me. It just appears as below.

Humm, is the - [x] Check in the middle of a sentence or at the start? If it is in the middle, it won't be rendered as a checkbox, because of Markdown syntax rules do not allow that.

yes it now works ;) and nevertheless this was a markdown issue, so closing it here.
