Advanced admin run-on-boot config malfunctioning

As outlined in the instructions, I ran each command from an elevated PowerShell prompt, and the 'WindowsDesktopSwitcher' log-on task is visible and running in Task Scheduler with the correct pathname to the 'desktop_switcher.ahk' script, but typing 'Caps Lock + #' fails to switch to the correct (or any) desktop. Have yet to try any of the other hotkeys, although I suppose that's in order, too.

When trying to switch virtual desktops, Caps Lock seems to hang; my keyboard's Caps Lock key illuminates in addition to the on-screen Windows system pop-up indicating that Caps Lock is on, but upon holding it down and hitting the desired number, it toggles Caps Lock off instead of switching.

Might this have something to do with preexisting virtual desktops generated prior to running the script? I initially had used a modified version of your AHK script a fellow had tweaked because he wanted to use the Win key instead of Caps Lock, but his username and the details of what was changed escape me.

'user_config.ahk' and 'desktop_switcher.ahk' are default, right now they're in a folder for scripts I made in 'Documents', along with 'VirtualDesktopAccessor.dll'. No real familiarity with the nature of dynamic link libraries, so if there's a better place to put it, that'd be a nice, easy fix.

Also fairly unfamiliar with AHK in general, so I may be overlooking something obvious.

Thanks in advance!

Disregard!

For whatever reason, although seemingly nothing changed on my end, everything's working as it should now. Seems like it just took a few computer shut-downs or restarts. No idea.

Cheers.
