Manual pages not compiled

I'm using ruby-packer to compile a CLI gem that has a man directory in the project with manual pages. After compilation when I run the help command, I get the following output:
No manual entry for /__enclose_io_memfs__/local/man/[command name]
Is there a workaround?

After research found out that man pages for the app should be installed on a user's host machine. I changed the app to render plain manual files instead and it's working.
