Some of the PnP controls we use might collect telemetry, but we have no logging ourselves in the web parts. For the PnP controls we could expose an option to turn it off.

What's your requirement/scenario - and the webparts does no longer live in this repository. Head over to github.com/microsoft-search/pnp-modern-search

Thank you for the info, and thank you for super prompt reply :) (you never seize to amaze - been following your blog entries for years) and my bad - will move to the correct repo.

This is just a question we got asked by information security folks prior to the production deploy. Will let you know if there are requirements beyond the option to turn telemetry collection off.

Would be nice if that was an option: added issue 315 in correct repo.
