Unused role

There is a role called logentries that is commented out and, accordingly, not called when creating bootnode.
In this role there is a variables called logentries_user_key and logsprefix, which is used in template, but not defined anywhere. As i see at core branch - this variable was defined in site.yml like # logentries_user_key: "0665901a-e843-41c5-82c1-2cc4b39f0b21" and # logsprefix: "/home/{{ username }}/logs" and they are already commented out. In master branch those variables is already deleted.
What is the purpose of this role? Should we keep it, or it can be safely deleted?

We used logentries in the early stages of development, it can be removed now.
