PURPOSE
This issue is meant to serve as a guide to report nodes that serves bad data.
GUIDELINES
- If FAQ does not comprehensively cover the issue, community comments and contributions are welcome
- Although the issue is closed, FAQ issues are meant to be maintained and edited over time
How to report node(s) returning bad data?
If you are using any of Pocket's JS libraries, you will be able to send a challenge request outlined here.
By sending the request, the protocol looks at the majority response and penalizes the nodes that served the bad data.
NOTES
When you send a consensus relay, you are paying for that additional relay.
