Feature request: Option for transparent background (alpha channel?)

I would love to be able to create an image that has a transparent background so that when I download it, it doesn't have to be a photo or color as the background.

Turns out this is already a feature!

Step 1: Choose “Background,” then click the Paint Palette button and enter “FFFFFF” into the hex code field.

Step 2: Drag the brightness slider all the way down.

Poof! Transparent background.
