Compatibility report for Intel 420EX (And game incompatibilities)

Hi, I wanted to report that boards with the Intel 420EX Chipset seem to work correctly, the PicoGUS works fine in wavetable mode. I tested this on a Zeos Pantera 486 Tower with a 486 DX2 66Mhz Processor.

Descent seems to have issues playing certain songs on both this chipset and my Pentium board, with the Intel 430HX chipset. On certain levels, the song will crash the game with a weird Dos/4GW error. It appears as if there's a problem with certain patches. ROTT also does not work on both machines, both these errors indicate there is something wrong with the PicoGUS or it's configuration settings.
