Play from the last last X steps (like shift + play) without having to go to the previous steps

Opened this issue · 0 comments

sometimes when editing e.g. a break, I want to listen to the change, so I go up a few steps and press shift + play.

when in pattern mode, using the first button on the left ("pattern selection" button) + PLAY, could play, starting X steps before (with a setting possibly on the config menu) usually 8 should be nice, so one would be able to listen to the change, in context.

could be a fixed amount (like 8 or 16 steps) or, as I said above, settable on the config menu.

I checked and that "pattern selection button" + play , and seems a nice shortcut.

there might be more ways to do it though, just having to scroll up and then shift + play, is not that fast if you intend to use it frequently to check for changes you do to patterns, in context.
