Info
Can you please kindly make android-14.0/config/ota.json based on stable releases starting now with v2024.05.09 and going forward?
This is specially useful since the OTA updater does not have any warnings about unstable releases.
I have soft bricked my phone twice due to this.
Maybe there could be a separate json files for latest unstable release for those who want to live dangerously :-D
Expected Behavior
I was expecting latest stable releases only
Current Behavior
Latest stable or unstable releases
Possible Solution
Can you please kindly make android-14.0/config/ota.json based on stable releases starting now with v2024.05.09 and going forward?
Also useful would be for the OTA updater to show release notes
Maybe there could be a separate json files for latest unstable release for those who want to live dangerously :-D
Steps to Reproduce
Run OTA Updater

Most people complain about not having updated OTA and that was why I have updated it this time at pre-release time.
I can be careful next time by updating only in case of a stable release.
Sorry for the brick.
No worries but I would appreciate it very much if you could roll back the ota json so I can upgrade to the latest stable version in-place. I have an A/B slot based system so to recover from the soft brick I simply switched the active A/B slot but now I am on an old build.
Fair enough. Done.
Super Thank You!
