Info
- Device: Redmi 9
- GSI version: A14 pre-QPR2, QPR2 and QPR3
- Vendor version: A12
Expected Behavior
No lag.
The app opens immediately.
Current Behavior
Same as the title.
Lag when launching an app from the homescreen, in this case Trebuchet.
Lag occurs if an app is launched from the homescreen.
If an app is launched from the app drawer then no lag occurs.
Tested on AOSP A14 pre-QPR2, QPR2 and QPR3 vanilla & GAPPS.
As a comparison, the main AOSP TrebleDroid and Andy's LineageOS with their default launchers Quickstep and Trebuchet have no lag at all when launching an app from the homescreen.
Possible Solution
No response
Steps to Reproduce

- See how there is a lag while the app loads.

@ponces , a little off topic.
I don't know the current trebledroid situation because i no longer use Telegram.
But yesterday i read Andy Yan's post on XDA which said that many builders were experiencing burnout and quitting.
But i'm glad you're still around.
I also don't know if phh is still checking pull requests.
But yesterday I made 2 pull requests which might be the last for Redmi 9.
It seems that apart from phh, you and Andy are trebledroid admins.
But since I'm using your ROM, may I ask if you can merge these pull requests?

Those are the last pull requests for the redmi 9 before next week i buy a more modern device for gsi.
Thanks.
Honestly, I have already thought of that too. I don't feel motivated anymore.
I even thought of doing something like the light builds from Andy as personal builds for myself only.
It's a bit exhausting having to update all those TD patches to support old devices which don't mean anything to me besides supporting the community. I'm pretty much alone on TD for the past few months.
And don't get me started on the issues support which currently is kind of non-existant on my side :(

Thank you Ponces
I understand what you feel.
It seems good for you to do what Andy did with his light.
And of course i have to find out what device you guys use as my next device. :)
