Using the vanilla flavor, AOSP 14.0 v2024.01.05, but there seems to be no seedvault support leaving only google as an alternative - why does not apply to non gapps versions

GSI version: AOSP 14.0 v2024.01.05
Vendor version: any

Having an alternative to google backup like seedvault

Current Behavior

Not having an alternative to google backup like seedvault

Possible Solution

Add seedvault per https://github.com/seedvault-app/seedvault/wiki/Building-with-AOSP

If you are not interested in adding such a feature, are pull requests welcome (for seedvault specifically)?

1. Go to settings, backup and on vanilla it is not functional

sorry for closed spam but what do you mean floss? i just use the vanilla vdklite

Vanilla is vanilla. No added stuff.
It's not meant to be an FOSS/FLOSS alternative to the gapps version.
