Info

  • GSI version: latest
  • Vendor version: latest

Opening the default Camera app will crash. Opening the pre-installed second Camera app works, and taking photos works, but recording video will not work. Video recording will begin, and a file will be saved, but the file saved always has a duration of what seems to be equal to the maximum possible capacity of duration in hours on the device for a recording.

Expected Behavior

Either the default or preinstalled camera apps should work as intended.

Current Behavior

See above.

Possible Solution

None

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Camera app (default); notice crash
  2. Launch Camera app (preinstalled);
  3. Switch to Video recording
  4. Begin video recording
  5. Notice that the recording immediately has a duration of over 60 hours
  6. Stop recording
  7. Try to playback the recording
  8. Notice it does not work; metadata shows the duration mentioned in step 5
