Can not set lock screen image

Describe the problem:
Lock screen shows black with the time and does not show the image which has been set.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use the tweaks extension to set a lock screen image.

  2. Lock the screen (e.g. SUPER-ESC)

  3. The image selected is not displayed but the lock screen works otherwise as expected.

I just finished testing this on Fedora 36 Silverblue, and the lock screen option in Tweaks doesn't appear to modify anything there either. What's the expected behavior that this option affects?
