Behaviour

Steps to reproduce this issue

  1. install discord and use it
  2. open your start menu and desktop and verify discord shortcuts work
  3. install discord portable on a usb drive and then open it alongside discord
  4. close discord portable and discord and remove the usb drive
  5. check the shortcuts again, they should be broken or redirected to discord portable

Expected behaviour

Discord portable shouldn't change or install shortcuts since it can be launched directly from the folder it is in (like on a usb drive)

I also don't want my local Discord shortcut not removed. I am using discord portable because I want to use a second account. This makes it a mess. How about a config to be able to change if it should remove are keep the shortcut

We create this shortcut to allow native notifications but we could detect if the shortcut already exists and skip.
