[Bug] RTC connecting forever

I don't know if it's just me but, RTC connecting forever just happened to my portable client

Any other things still work, but Voice calls ain't working

Same issue here. I just upgraded to the latest release 1.0.9007-14 and it seems to be working fine. I'll post again if I can uncover any more info, but for now, try an upgrade.

EDIT: Currently using 1.0.9006-13 (2022/08/13). I'll try clearing data files to see if that fixes it.

EDIT2: I tried the following:

  • deleting data and log folders
  • deleting discord-portable.sample.yml and portapp.json
  • deleting all of the above and starting fresh
  • running the app from a different location
  • running discord-portable.exe directly instead of with shortcut and --start-minimized option

Nothing seemed to work for 1.0.9006-13 (2022/08/13) release. Latest release appears to work just fine. ESET "Webcam Protection" works fine with latest release after allowing Discord to access the camera.

Can confirm this issue is no longer present in the latest version 1.0.9007-14. Upgrading worked for me as well.
