Apple Silicon, metal GPU support?

I try to search around but can't see any mention about Apple Silicon or metal support only CUDA.
Any plan on this? It would be nice if I can test and run locally on my Mac.

We provide a docker image that runs on Mac, but the entire package can also be built and run natively with Apple silicon support. We also provide a list of python dependencies frozen and known to work in requirements.macos.txt
