How to find AppleTV on other network

Describe the bug
A atvremote wizard
does not find my device which is connected remotely but my coomputer is connected to that remote network via VPN.
local network: 192.168.0.0
remote network: 192.168.10.0
Apple tv: 192.168.10.183
And ping also works:

You need an MDNS responder for this setup to work. MDNS traffic is not forwarded between subnets by default, nor were they designed to in the first place.

I see, isn't there any possibility to manually define the IP? I tried several things but without success.
