How do I edit the preferences?

In the README it a preference menu is mentioned (for changing things like Refresh time), but I don't see how to open it.

How do I open the preferences menu?
Can you add those instructions to the README file?

I just found that you can open the preferences menu from extensions.gnome.org.

I'm kinda new to this extensions stuff and didn't know that was the way to do it. How would I do it if I had installed in another way?

And I found the answer to my new question: there is an extensions application. 🤦

Could you still add a note to the README on how to open the preferences menu? It would be helpful for new users like me :)
