Add to Apple Wallet Button

Please allow adding the Add to Apple Wallet image next to the View Order Details. It's much more intuitive than explaining that they are supposed to click the attachment on their iOS device. If possible, you could add a QR code for desktop devices so they can download it with their iOS device.

Even if we have to go to the Apple Developer page, accept the terms, download the image, and upload it into PassBook.

Participants can already add their ticket to their wallet/passbook from the order details page.

Next to their tickets, there is a row of buttons to download the ticket in different formats: PDF, and (if enabled) Wallet/Passbook.

Adding additional Apple Wallet-buttons on top of the existing ones is not something we're looking to do right now, as it would only clutter the page more.

Sorry, to clarify, I was requesting it for the email confirmation.

Thanks for clarifying.

I'll reopen this for discussion - but I'm not really seeing this, to be honest...

Including images in emails (no matter if embedded of linked) is already now a gamble... A good portion of mail clients will display the images how they are supposed to, some will show them as attachments (looking at you, Outlook/Office365) and some will just plain ignore them.

Furthermore, we do not have any facilities for ticket output plugins like this one to add content to emails. That's certainly something we could add to the APIs - but I also feel that this will just invite the emails getting very very crowded: We have customers that have regular PDF-tickets, mobile PDF-tickets, passbook-tickets and possibly some more custom ticket providers. If all of them start adding a button to the email not only once, but for every single ticket in the order, things will start looking quite badly...

But again: Leaving this open for now, so others can give their insights, too.

Could you make it so they are only allowed to add one button? Add a dropdown, default at none.

How does this give any benefit to the user over attaching the passbook file to the email?

Because the average non-technical user doesn't understand that it will open wallet. However, some are trained to look for that symbol.

We previously used Eventbrite, and encouraged everyone to add it to their wallet, dramatically speeding up our entry times. I want to make a video like Wembly did, and you can tell them how to set it up within a second.
