Using the microphone input causes a local echo.

fixed! unfortunately this only works on chrome when running locally. chrome now requires https for webRTC stuff. (getUserMedia() no longer works on insecure origins) i'll look into adding https to my blog at some point where i host this. runs fine in firefox. 👍
