Add all variables to config

Working on adding all of the variables to config, and making sure they work (that is, making sure they pass through the make-function).

Please help out by contributing @ this spreadsheet, which will be directly pluggable into the make-function (it takes a spreadsheet with paths/names/other info).

This should be part of a checklist for anyone adding new variables to the system. Which reminds me that we should have such a checklist.

I think all variables that are implemented are in the spreadsheet now, but more variables to come. We should wait with closing this issue until we have a system in place to make sure this happens when we add new variables.
