Notify-send for Kindle is simple notification tool for using in seld-made scripts. It based on sources of launchpad (yet another hotkey manager for Kindle). Also there is script example (gmail.sh) that shows count of new mails in your gmail account. Usage: $ notify-send "Message you want to show" time
