This is a tracking issue for the followup work to probe-lab/zikade#17 so that the modular DHT can be enabled by default in Kubo.
I expect this will out the "optimizations" from https://github.com/plprobelab/go-kademlia/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3Ascope%2Fnicetohave that we need to include to meet the launch criteria.
