3.0.49 broke pasting of some unicode chars

In xonsh with prompt-toolkit without config pasting 🄲 results in ?? in 3.0.49, while in .48 it's normal 🄲
Windows Terminal 1.22 on Win11
xonsh .18.4 and .19.4 versions
