TextEdit: Unhighlighted spacing between highlighted lines

Since the placement of lines of text within a TextEdit has been changed to a floating point value, there are on occasion, situations where subsequent lines of highlighted text fail to overlap a line of horizontal pixels where a floating point line placement operation shifts the subsequent line down by an extra row (see attached photo below):
