Increase buffer network buffer cache for smooth video playback even when internet connection becomes weak

Hello, we thank you so much for this marvelous fanstastic great wonderful marvellous web browser ! ๐Ÿ’ฏ ๐Ÿฅ‡

Please i have important save life suggestion : I found clever way to full buffer streaming and have smooth playback even when internet connection becomes very weak when many members of our family connect to wifi:: disable MSE media source extension by going to "about:config" and setting the value "false" to "media.mediasource.enabled", ir works on ok.ru/video, sibnet, uqload....like in this site :

https://french-anime.com/animes-vf/1214-mashle.html

but sometimes, some streaming platforms and video players don't work if MSE media source extensions is disabled, so our dream is that our so beloved Pulse-Browser increase the buffer network cache of streaming videos which is currently only 20 or 30 seconds no matter what our internet connection is weak and the video is in very high definition, so we could have smooth playback even with weak connection, thank you very much !

Personaly, i make researches and I tested many values of these flags but sadly, nothing changes, the quantity of the network cache buffer does not change :(

media.cache_readahead_limit

media.cache_resume_threshold

Sorry, but we will not be changing these prefs.

  • media.mediasource.enabled: This is a webstandard, disabling this will break webcompat, so we will not disable it
  • media.cache_readahead_limit: The value that Mozilla has chosen for this is fine. If you want to play around with it, please be my guest, but we will not include tweaks this out of the box.

I understand , thank you :)

until 2015, it says we could full buffer all the video in firefox, too bad we no longer have this popular feature, which could have allowed firefox to resist chrome, firefx has also adopted web extensions and perhaps to be ending support for manifest v2 like chrome, it's a pity ..... I would have liked firefox to keep these differences compared to chromium .. will Pulse browser also end manifest v2 and thus adblockers will be less effective?

The end of support for manifest v3 will not change the way that adblockers operate. Mozilla will continue to support the webRequest api in mv3.

Mozilla talked about compatibility and interoperability issue, yes mozilla does support manifest v2 but didn't say it will support manifestv2 for all the time, it said for now it supports manfestv2 , so the word "for now ", suggests that manifestv2 support may end in the future

Why duplicate?!! it is not the same browser, waterfox did not answer me telling me it is possible or not to increase the cache, and this thread has been closed so it is noraml to look for other developers who can achieve this technical exploit, I change from a famous famous browser like firefox for other less known browsers and I take the risk even if the source code is open and we have seen infected famous open source kodi addon, and therefore I change to use a browser that does not jerk and I ask the developers of browsers to improve their browsers, what is your problem and what are you getting into? if there weren't jerks, I wouldn't have made these requests because developers couldn't fulfill my wishes

@yokoffing, it will be good if you delete your comment which disrespects me, your comment is useless since the developer of pulsar refused my request so your comment will not change anything in the situation since the developer refuses, in addition @yokoffing I I thanked you very much and praised you and you didn't even say a simple thank you, but to come and write a duplicate about another subject that doesn't concern you, you're here, it disappoints me and surprises me from you
