Does not play on Galaxy S6

The published app as of 18-Feb-2016 does not seem to play on a Galaxy S6. I believe the S6 has a different hardware DSP from earlier Galaxy models.
I encountered this problem when writing the KVMR Android app. I ended up switching to Google's ExoPlayer library, which worked quite well. It comes from Google, but is not included in Android so that it can be updated more frequently.
