[Bug]: After pyRevit 4.8.16.24121 installed, multiple versions showing in Windows Apps

  • I don't have SentinelOne antivirus installed (see above for the solution)
  • I have searched in the issues (open and closed) but couldn't find a similar issue
  • I have searched in the pyRevit Forum for similar issues
  • I already followed the installation troubleshooting guide thoroughly
  • I am using the latest pyRevit Version

🐞 Describe the bug

Installed the ALLUSERS version of pyRevit 4.8.16.24121 today when creating a new deploy package for firm. After install, the old version is still showing in the Windows Programs List. Does not appear to have multiple sets of files installed... some sort of windows registry issue.

It happended to me and I uninstalled the old version. That's it.
