Hovers are acting weird on conference website

I would expect the nav bar to be togglable instead of "clickable". Also, something wonky is going on with the "Speaking" tab (it's the only one that is highlighted on a hover).
Not sure how to correct this or I'd submit a PR. Would love to learn for the future!

Hover is fixed in #40 but "clickable" problem is still there.
