I am curious about the release cycle of the project as well as the date of the next planned release.
Can you please share some information on that one?

I would be specifically interested into when the following changes get released:

There is no defined release cycle. There are a bunch of improvements in the pull requests which would be worth including in the release, just somebody needs to review (and possibly polish these).
