Enfold and q-translate XT

Hello everyone,

I want to make my site multilingual with the plugin q-translate XT But when I insert the English and German texts, it copies both pages back to either English or German, so there is no difference. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Do I have to download another plugin or is it because of my settings or maybe even the Enfold theme? Which plugin do you use to make your site multilingual? I hope someone can help me.

Best regards,
Marina

Hi,

You can try Falang, I use it with Enfold and it works great. https://wordpress.org/plugins/falang/
There is also a plugin to help with monving from qTranslate to Falang: https://wordpress.org/plugins/falang-q-importer/

Kind regards,
Rob

Highly suggested to use the raw editor mode, Settings, Languages , Advanced then change here.

The LSB mode never worked well for me and has incompatibilities. Recommended to use raw mode in most cases.
When you need to translate text, write it like this example is for English and Greek language

[:en]This is a English sentence[:el]τηισ ισ α φακε Γρεεκ σεντανσε[:]

This style of translation works in almost all fields and forms, titles, product names etc.
The only place it doesn't work is in the page slugs, this is being worked on as well.
