No notifications if calendar disabled in Etar?

I ran into weird issue. To have better overview of the Calendar I hid couple of calendars in my calendar app (Etar). To my surprise, even though those hidden calendars were still enabled in CalendarNotification, I stopped receiving any notifications from them.

I though that CalendarNotification access (some sort of) calendar store, the same that Etar access/view but at the same time those apps are independent. Todo Agenda (calendar widget) doesn't seem to be affected and after hiding the calendars in Etar it still displays event if I enable calendar in widget settings.
