Bug: Error/Problem Rescheduling if originally >7pm

infinifocal opened this issue · 0 comments

Events originally scheduled after 7pm (local time) in Calendar, Calendar Notifications app won't let me RESCHEDULE until after midnight local time.
I can Postpone, but not RESCHEDULE until after midnight. (The bottom options to Reschedule don't even show, if the original Calendar time is after 7pm local.)

Because I use your app EXTENSIVELY to try to keep on track and not miss critical dailies (including health issues), this causes multiple major inconveniences:
1a. I get stuck in a loop of multiple-Postponings of each of NUMEROUS events to after-midnight, and then AGAIN (after-midnight Reschedule), to the following day/week/etc.
1b. This is further compounded by events in which I originally had additional Notifications set in Calendar. (I do this for more urgent reminders which I don't want to miss due to accidentally Dismissing, or rushedly overly-extended Postponings.) So these additional Notifications, for items which I was "now"ready to actually Reschedule (versus Postpone), DRASTICALLY compound both the number and frequency of Postponings.
2. To use your app more effectively, this forces me to EXTENSIVELY compensate, which causes other major inconveniences:
*A. Compensate by early-scheduling actually-later-desired events in Calendar:
**A1. Still requires having to Postpone everything which fired "earlier-than-i-actually-desired" (to the next desired Notification time) just so that I can RESCHEDULE any events at any time the notification fires. This can lead to desired-but-missed Postpone/reminder times between the fake-early-scheduling time, and the actually-desired-(but-not-used) would-have-schedule-if-it-worked-better/correctly time. (Eg. Fake-scheduled for 6p, but desired to schedule for 11p with additional reminders at 8p & 9p; wouldn't seem like a big deal, but it forces me to stop and think each time, for each event, for numerous events, when I actually-wanted to be next-reminded, not just Postponing all to a later generic-still-wrong time.)
**A2. Messes with my CALENDAR-day-view for ACTUAL-time, QUICK-QUICK-OVERVIEW game-planning.
*B. Or I have to wait to Reschedule:
**B1. until the following day (which kills critical day-time), or after midnight (which kills critical sleep time), to Reschedule all yesterday's after-7p events, to today, often to have them immediately re-fire if it's already after first-fire time bc I'm running behind (chronic issue), which has me back to having to NUMEROUS multiple-handlings of the same event again.
**B2. Waiting until later to Reschedule also overfills my Calendar Notifications VIEW extensively, making it difficult to use for QUICK now-planning visibility (defeating the purpose of not having to look, both daily and repetitively, at/through a LONG list of dailies), requiring to sift through a long list–too slow.

I use Calendar and Calendar Notifications EXTENSIVELY to try to keep on track. Because of health issues (including critical sleep disorders), I am chronically EXTREMELY behind with critical health and life issues, so I can't afford to not-use such a powerful app as yours, but it's massively killing my minimal amount of daily functional-time (at best, I only have a few decent functional hours/day).
