Image not covering whole screen - desktop background appears in the back

Since updating to 2024 beta I encountered a problem regarding the projected image size, particularly the background. Unfortunately I have the same problem with the 2024 final version too. I attached a screenshot to make it more clear.
If the image is not the same format/size as the screen, in the background on the sides appears the PC’s background picture. In the earlier version in this case it used to be black in the background.
