Login to bitwarden.eu never asks for password and login fails

When I open Goldwarden, enter my "authentication > email" and enter "server > server url" https://vault.bitwarden.eu and click "login", after a few seconds I get a desktop notification:

Could not login via password: Bad Request: {"error":"invalid_grant","error_description":"invalid_username_or_password","ErrorModel":{"Message":"Username or password is incorrect. Try again.","Object":"error"}}

And in Goldwarden a popup titled "Bad password" with text "The username or password you entered is incorrect" and button "Dismiss". I was never asked for a password.

This is using goldwarden 0.3.6 on NixOS unstable 25.05.20241211.5d67ea6.
