4.0.0 came out last winter. You can either update the code to 5.0.0, or add it as a submodule and just check out 5.0.0 (makes upgrading much easier). I'll submit PR's for each.

Everything should be good - @Mulletfingers999 It's your decision whether you want #21 (code upgrade) or #22 (submodule) - or something different.

Just checked firepad, I think the latest codemirror version it supports is 4.5, I'm working on updating to that.

Started using Codemirror as a CDN, should be alright now
