Are you aware of this list of bash scripts for installing dependencies for ShinyApps?

I'd say it is a useful source for the information captured by sysreqsdb, too.

oddly, there's also the inverse of this issue: rstudio/shinyapps-package-dependencies#93

just in case someone else stumbles upon this and is confused about the overlap between these three approaches to managing system dependencies:

  1. r-hubs {sysreq} / sysreqsdb backing the r-hub service
  2. rstudios shinyapps-package-dependencies backing shinyapps.io
  3. rstudios r-system-requirements driving RSPM
