Currently on macos iterm2 works like Linux and windows. However it doesn't work that way on macos and that needs to be fixed.
The keyboard input and color conversion code needs to be tested and fixed.

The editor doesn't work on macOS terminal.app due to issues w/ the app itself. There are known problems with it, such as Shift+Down, Shift+Up, etc. does not work.
