Digital outputs won't plot properly

Closed this issue · 3 comments

Attached are two VCOs. One VCO is "analog" and the other "digital". One has an ADC Bridge and the second a DAC Bridge but that doesn't seem to be the issue since the netlists work in ngspice via DuSpice.

Neither "digital" output will plot properly in Qucs-S, only the "analog" outputs will plot properly. Digital time-scales are wrong.

Using DuSpice, all outputs plot with the proper time-scale.

The "digital" outputs and the analog output of the D-A "misbehave" if a resistor load is used BUT they at least appear to have the proper time-scale when plotted in Qucs-S.

The "digital" time-scale is an order of magnitude less than the "analog" time-scale.

@ra3xdh

Workaround was to add a D-A Bridge to VCO digital output. I also made an A-D version and Digital 1/0s so the XSPICE P-F detector could be simulated.

Time-Base compression on "digital" outputs is still an issue. May require help from ngspice guys.

Giles @gatk555 says he has seen it as well.
