About Multi-GPU training and training epochs

Hello, I found the epoches number is 1500 in the code, does it mean I nead to train nearly 1500 epoches to get the best model? It is really time-consuming
could u please provide the Multi-Gpu training code so to accelarate the training?
and I want to tune the pretrained model on my own dataset , how to set the hyperparameter?
