Rails 5 support

Just a quick question...I assuming, since there has not been a update recently, this gem is no longer being supported? I have been using the Rails in Action tutorial (excellent resource!!) and am trying to use the searcher gem.

searcher was resolved to 0.0.7, which depends on activerecord (~> 4.2) is the error I am getting when bundling. Any ideas how to fix this? If not, what are your recommendation for a search engine to use with rails?

Any assistance is appreciated.
