Issue when creating a new tab in macOS Mojave

An issue is happening on macOS Mojave...
The app turns all white and becomes unusable after trying to create a new tab (both from the menubar and with keyboard shortcuts).
Same thing happens when changing a directory (cd ../foo) to and from another directory.

For me it happens when opening the UpTerm app, even when using Mojave on White Theme.
I've seen as issue on Electron repo that maybe would help this
electron/electron#13387
