BackendMenu issue with duplication of permission

Every time I update and save a menu item in the BackendMenu, it duplicates the permissions for each of the side-menus.

Example:

 permissions:
                    - voilaah.astar.manage.groups
                    - voilaah.astar.manage.groups
                    - voilaah.astar.manage.groups
