I would like to suggest to create a section "development tools".
There are many interesting tools in this area, for example PyBuilder

Thanks for the suggestion. PyBuilder sounds like an interesting project, but I haven't used it yet.
At this point I don't want to recommend anything that I don't know much about yet - that wouldn't be very honest, right!? :) But I will put it down onto my to do list of things that I want to check out!
