following @XECDesign comment, is some sort of release/tag numbering planned with this repo?
(so far was using 0.YYYYMMDD of considered commit #, like in firmware tags)

Not that I'm aware of.

For package versioning I'm just using the YYYYMMDD format based on the day I update it, so it's not really tied to the repo commit date or any sort of tag.
