Captions stop working at random

Hello~!
The captions work very well, thanks a lot for your awesome work! :)
But I have a problem:
After a random amount of time, the captions stop working. (no preview, no output, nothing)
Simply pressing the "Captioning Enabled" button in the preview window twice instantly fixes the issue and everything works again.
Is there any kind of log I could provide?
